The UC High School Kaleen Parents & Citizens Association works in partnership with the school to support students, strengthen community connections, and enhance the overall school experience.
We provide a welcoming space where parents, carers and community members can share ideas, raise questions, and contribute to initiatives that benefit students and staff.
The P&C helps build strong relationships between families and the school by encouraging open communication and collaboration. We work with school leadership to understand priorities and identify opportunities where the wider community can make a positive contribution.
Through fundraising and community support, the P&C contributes towards projects and resources that enhance learning environments, student wellbeing and extracurricular opportunities. These may include improvements to facilities, classroom resources, student activities, and special programs that enrich school life.
The P&C supports and helps organise community events throughout the year. These events provide opportunities for families to connect, celebrate student achievements, and be actively involved in the life of the school.
Volunteers play a vital role in making these activities possible, and there are many ways to contribute — whether helping at an event, sharing skills, or participating in discussions and planning.
The P&C provides a constructive and respectful forum for parents and carers to share feedback, ask questions, and contribute to conversations about the school’s future. By working collaboratively with staff and leadership, we aim to ensure community perspectives are heard and considered.
All members of the school community are welcome to attend P&C meetings, volunteer at events, or simply stay informed about our activities.
Even small contributions of time or ideas can make a meaningful difference.
